Centers for Disease Control Guidelines for School Health Programs to Promote Lifelong Healthy Eating Staff Development and School Community Promotion This resource identifies strategies most likely to be effective in promoting lifelong healthy eating among young people. The guidelines were developed by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in collaboration with experts from other federal agencies, state agencies, universities, voluntary organizations, and professional associations.

is an interactive learning program that provides consumers with

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute School Community Promotion This website highlights a program which provides practical tips and tools on how families can maintain a healthy weight by making smart food choices, increasing physical activity, and reducing screen time. Families can practice balancing food intake with activity by utilizing these handbooks, tip sheets, recipes, and more.
