Parents
with children 5 - 9 years in the home can utilize this interactive DVD
for families. DVD activities include a parental segment that
illustrates “small, achievable steps” which parents can utilize to model
and encourage healthy habits. Childhood Obesity: Combating the Epidemic (for clinicians)
This DVD
provides an update on obesity, prevention, screening, counseling, and
treatment modalities. Tools provided on the DVD include Body Mass Index
(BMI) measurement for children and tips for changing behaviors in
pediatric patients. CEU credit is available. These DVDs can be ordered
free of charge.
