LESSON PLANS AND TEACHING ACTIVITIES
Dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and understanding to improve
public health, ILSI developed this interactive website to provide a
classroom based physical activity program for K – 5 grade students. The
program integrates academic learning objectives (in language arts, math,
social studies, science and health) with movement and was created by
teachers for teachers and students. Based on the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the MyPyramid graphic, this handout is designed to help children ages 6 to 11 include a variety of physical activities in their daily lives. |
